About the Method
Dreams Are Parables of Consciousness
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Not a random story, but a symbolic parable through which Consciousness communicates with ItSelf.
Like the parables found throughout Scripture, dreams speak in symbols rather than literal language. Their meaning is not found by isolating individual symbols, but by understanding the complete narrative they create together.
Every character, object, place, action, and event contributes to a single message.
Our task is to understand what the parable is revealing.
Our method begins with a simple premise:
Consciousness is The Dreamer.
The person we ordinarily identify as ourselves is the character within the dream. The dream itself is the symbolic language through which Consciousness communicates with ItSelf.
When viewed from this perspective, dreams become opportunities for greater self-understanding rather than puzzles to be solved or predictions to be decoded.
One of the most common mistakes in dream interpretation is attempting to define individual symbols without first understanding the story they belong to.
A house, a key, a river, or a road does not possess a fixed meaning independent of the dream.
Symbols receive their meaning through context.
For this reason, every interpretation begins with the complete narrative before examining its individual parts.
The first question is never:
“What does this symbol mean?”
The first question is:
“What is this parable revealing?”
Dreams communicate through symbolic language.
Characters, places, colors, numbers, objects, movements, and even conversations are part of a symbolic vocabulary.
Like words within a sentence, symbols work together to express a larger idea.
Understanding the language requires careful observation, thoughtful study, and an appreciation for the relationship between each symbol and the whole dream.
Our approach recognizes that genuine understanding does not arise merely from intellectual analysis.
Interpretation belongs to Consciousness.
The interpreter’s role is not to impose personal opinions upon the dream, but to listen carefully to the symbolic narrative and allow its meaning to emerge through disciplined observation and reflection.
Why This Method
Throughout history, individuals have recognized the ability to understand symbolic dreams as a faculty that can be developed.
Like learning a language, dream interpretation grows through repetition, careful attention, and experience.
While some people appear naturally gifted, we believe this faculty can be cultivated by anyone who sincerely desires to understand the symbolic language of dreams.
Dreams speak in symbols. Understanding begins when the entire story is considered.
The purpose of dream interpretation is not entertainment.
It is not fortune-telling.
It is not prediction.
Its purpose is understanding.
Every dream invites us to see ourselves more clearly through the symbolic language of Consciousness.
Each interpretation is an opportunity to explore that invitation with care, humility, and disciplined study.
